DALE REX

Dale Rex is a partner at Sweeney | Rex, where his general practice focuses on real estate litigation and transactions, chapter 7 bankruptcy, probate and estate planning, general litigation, and tribal law issues. He represents clients in state, tribal and federal courts.
Mr. Rex earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2012.
While in law school, he was awarded the Distinguished Student Award for his work in the OU Legal Clinic, where he successfully argued a case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
He was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and participated in multiple advocacy competitions and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Prior to law school, Mr. Rex received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Brigham Young University in 2008. He remains active in the arts, performing as a trumpet player and vocalist in various church and community ensembles.
Mr. Rex is committed to public service and civic engagement. He currently serves on the Ada Planning and Zoning Commission and the Ada Public Library Board. He is also a licensed amateur radio operator (Technician Class) and a member of the Pontotoc County Amateur Radio Association. Prior to college he served a two-year proselytizing mission in the Dominican Republic and became fluent in Spanish. Mr. Rex supports youth development through the Boy Scouts of America as an Eagle Scout and by volunteering with various other youth organizations.
Mr. Rex resides in Ada, Oklahoma, with his wife, Judy. They are the parents of four children.
